In 2026, the government of Pakistan has launched two distinct Ramzan relief initiatives: a federal program and a provincial (Punjab) program.
It is important to understand that these are separate schemes, and you should use the correct code for each to check your eligibility.

How to Check Your Eligibility
The government has streamlined the eligibility check process so you can verify your status from home without needing to visit an office.
Using the SMS Method (Fastest)
This is the easiest way to check your status if you do not have consistent internet access.
- Step 1: Open the messaging app on your mobile phone.
- Step 2: Type your 13-digit CNIC number. Important: Do not include any dashes or spaces.
- Step 3: Send the message to the appropriate code:
- For the Federal Rs. 13,000 package, send to 9999.
- For the Punjab Rs. 10,000 package, send to 8070.
- Step 4: You will receive an automated reply confirming your eligibility status (“Eligible,” “Under Verification,” or “Not Found”).
Using the Official Online Portals
If you prefer to check online, use only official government websites to ensure your data remains secure.
For Punjab: Visit the PSER portal or 8070.punjab.gov.pk.
1. Federal Government: Rs. 13,000 Relief Package
For Federal: Visit pmrrp.nitb.gov.pk. Enter your 13-digit CNIC (no dashes) and the displayed security code to check your status.
This initiative is managed by the federal government and is closely linked with the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) database.
If you receive an “Ineligible” status, it typically means your current socio-economic data (recorded in the NSER database) does not meet the specific threshold for these packages. You may need to visit your local BISP Tehsil office to update your household data (Dynamic Survey).
